Design Concept

This graphic design project will create an engaging poster highlighting the urgency of limiting the rise in global temperature. It presents the scientific consensus on climate change and the unequal impact of emissions from different nations and visualizes data on the interconnected effects of climate change from the past to the future.

Methodology

The methodology for the climate change poster begins with research from scientific reports and UN publications on global warming and emissions. A mood board provides visual inspiration, and initial sketches guide the layout. Engaging infographics are created using graphic design software. The completed posters are distributed in physical and digital formats, with feedback collected to evaluate their effectiveness for future projects.

Results

The climate change poster project generated significant engagement and awareness. It effectively conveyed the urgency of limiting global temperature rise and the disproportionate contributions of high-emission countries. The visual elements made complex data accessible and impaction, highlighting the need for clear communication to educate the public and promote collective action for a sustainable future.

Ephemera

These visuals show how a design concept will look and work in real life, highlighting its practical use. We start with poster mock-ups, then expand to ephemera. By putting these designs in real-world contexts, mock-ups help everyone see how they’ll connect with the audience, making it easier to get feedback and make tweaks. In the end, they bridge the gap between ideas and reality, showing how effective the design can be across different platforms.
